Welcome to our Hurricane Relief Mission

Since 2005, thousands of volunteers armed with tools and supplies have restored hundreds of homes along the Gulf Coast in the wake of Hurricanes Katrina, Ike and Gustav. Despite the effort, hundreds families are still without adequate housing.

Our crew of 41 intrepid volunteers are busy carrying on with this important work during the week of March 8-12. You can keep up with their activities daily on a website dedicated to them.

Go to http://hands-on-mission.com/Katrina10/ each evening to see their daily progress and their stories... and use this Blog to send them encouraging messages.

Comments from a previous mission trip

"I expected the mission trip to mostly be about work.I never felt so much camaraderie as I did with fellow members of the team. They are wonderful people who care about each other, the work and the families we served...."

"It has been a great experience. The Browns are like extended family. I am doing for them as I would do for members of my own large family at home. It is very satisfying work...."
